I started howtoairbrush.com in 1999 to provide free basic airbrush lessons, information to anyone interested in airbrushing.
Back in 1999 early 2000's this was the only web site providing free airbrush lessons, information.
When I was teaching myself how to use the airbrush there was no resource like this web site and so I thought it a good idea to share my experiences via this web site. My goal in doing so was to hopefully reduce the frustration factor for folks while learning the basic's of airbrushing.
I had my share of moments believe me while teaching myself the dagger stroke, more than once my airbrush hit the floor. If there was some way I could keep others from going thru the same frustrating experience I believe the art form would be much better off and so howtoairbrush.com was born.
Sense 1999 the web site has gone thru a lot of changes but it always remained a free and open web site providing some of the best free airbrush instruction to be found on the Internet.
In 2005 I started what is now
Airbrush Technique Magazine. The goal of my magazine is provide more advanced airbrush, custom painting step by step articles, artist interviews, airbrush product reviews with as few pages of advertising as possible each issue. The goal was to publish more pages of useful content than pages of advertising content each issue, something we felt was missing from other airbrush publications.
I continue to add to this web site as often as possible so please check back often, book mark the site.
