    Lacrosse_Town,

That sounds like a great choice. I just got two new Grex airbrushes in April. I really like them. You will be starting with some great equipment. Don't forget to read Don's lesson 1. He suggests some paint to purchase, to minimize the hassle when you start. I purchased GOLDEN black and it worked for me right away. Easy, no mixing or thinning! Also get a pad of that newsprint he suggests. Again, Great choice.

wow, lucky i found this site!!! you guys are great, yep i've read over all the lessons! now its to find a place in montreal that sells it, i checked the grex site and the site was great it had a store find link on google maps to find the nearest store to you! wow that's just awasome!

another question: I see you guys and other pros like edhubs who use the double action triger on top of the brush...

is this "pistol trigger" style just as good? that is featured in the kit?

    see you guys around!

    and happy painting!

    Lax,
I think most of the people around here use the more traditional airbrush. with the trigger on top. I've seen the pistol grip used by people and they do great with it. I just haven't seen any reviews on them to make a comment.

I just started using one and will have a video review posted by the end of the week

I like it but it does take getting used to if you've been using a traditional type airbrush for awhile.

I've recently ordered and received two Masters sets from TCP via their site, and via eBay...most of the time the eBay prices are $10-$20 cheaper for a Masters set than on the TCP web site...if you get the Masters set then make sure to watch Don's video on cleaning a Masters airbrush - it saved me!

The only thing I would question about that set is that the air compressor has no tank. You might want to look into getting an air copressor from sears or the like. The cost will be less and it will give you more air. You can't have to much air.
