    Default stencils!

    hey all!
Have you ever made stencils yourself for airbrushing? I am new to this and have been trying to make some stencils myself. I will be soon going to shop stuff required but looking for some tips before that. What stencil surface material i must get and what kind of cutting knife would be better?

Don first thank you for the awesome website and work!

Do you know of any stencil cutter machines that I can purchase to work with my computer so I can make stencils from my artwork and resize quickly for multiple stencils?

Thank you Don! I'll be painting The boxes for Decks of Cards putting a logo on one side and some art work on the other. All the same custom deck. Then I will be painting some Tin cutouts for jerseys like from football about 8 inches tall. Then whatever else I can get my hands on =)

So I have the cards named "Jumbo Cards" in this cool font I want to make three stencils of "Jumbo Cards" each a little smaller so I can do a base with one color on the big stencial and get 1/8 in smaller on the next one then 1/8 and color in the heard of the letters. I like the peace sign helmet and thanks for all the great how to's. Your site is why I think I can actually do this if I practice and keep focus on getting better and starting small and easy.

You actually could just size each letter to the size you need in photoshop and print it off use the copier paper as a stencil I do it all the time
