    Default problem with paasce vl

i recently bought a new paasche vl brush.

while trying to reintroduce myself to the hobby, i have encountered some issues.

using the #3 needle/tip, i got the paint (thinned acryl) to spray for a second, then it stopped. i couldnt even get it to spray water after that. i tried a cup and a jar, both just bubbled. i tried more pressure and got more bubbles.

i am guessing i got some debris in the brush, so i took it apart and cleaned it . i plan on using some better paint this time.

am i missing something? or does this seem like the best place to start?

The VL is a great starter brush

sounds like you are on the right track cleaning it as there is most likely some dried paint on the needle or in the nozzle causing you problems

createx airbrush restorer works great for cleaning your airbrush in that kind of situation
