I've never tried it, but I would imagine that the burner would make wide large cuts and melt the frisket beyond use.
You can always try it and see what happens.
no, I haven't even got a burner yet. I was hoping that they worked, I have cut frisket, but actually I have never used it properly. I had to go back to the lesson page and figured out that you stick the frisket to the finished substrate, I was using it more like a stencil and it was like watching the three stooges set fly paper. I kept wondering what was so great about this stuff that is nearly impossible to use. Anyway I figured a stencil burner would illiminate me cutting too deep, even in my frisket stencils I have not succeeded without cutting the backing...
I use it on shirts and fabric is very forgiving. When I've used it on card stock, you do have to be very careful about how hard you cut. What are to using frisket on? Would the burner damage it?
When your cutting frisket, make sure that the blade is sharp, or replace it with a new one.
Also, let the blade do the cutting, so just glide the blade over the substrate without applying any pressure.
Frisket cuts very easily and doesn't require much pressure.
