    Default heat setting

    how long does it take to heat set your design on clothes ( denim overalls ) with a house hold iron.

    that depends on the temp of the iron really

    your best bet would be to experiment rather than take anyone's word for it

    in Medea Center here there is a video on heat setting your artwork on a t shirt did you check that out?

    I was about to post a new thread on this, glad to see someone else asked. I bought a heat gun for this purpose. Is there any problem with using a heat gun over an iron? It goes from about 110 to over 1000 degrees. I read on some other posts somewhere that using a heat gun on t-shirts was preferred due to rapid heat up time and higher temperature output.

    its best to use an iron and press as you heat set to help drive the paint into the fibers, help it adhere to the fibers of the shirt
