Default new to forums, looking for insight!

hey everyone, i am very new to the world of airbrushing. i like doing small projects and feel that sooner or later i will be making the purchase of an airbrush kit.. this is a project i am working on at the moment that i am going to start over and most likely do using an airbrush.. as you can see its not perfect, but i feel as if i have the taping, masking part down. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. you can see the pic with the stencil stuck to it, i then razor bladed the entire thing and painted in layers? is this the correct way?

    thanks again.

    MJPassarelli,

Welcome to the forum. You will like it here. This is a great place to ask questions. Some one will give you a good answer to most questions. At least they will give you an opinion. Not every thing works for everyone, so you will get a wide range of answers. There are plenty to read about airbrushes, compressors and paint. Don, the Moderator, has great lesson to start you learning the airbrush. The helmet looks great. You're way ahead of most that are starting out.

    Welcome MJ

Your doing good considering you don't actually have an airbrush yet.
There is no right or wrong, well most of the time that is. Just keep doing what works for you.
