I have only just started to try out something that has interested me from afar for years now.
I invested more in the compressor at the outset and so only have a generic double action tool just to get the feel for using an airbrush first before delving in to the market for something a bit better
I feel that making sure my air supply is constant and regulated might be better for someone who is still getting his head around the basics, also I have noted that the compressor is usually a one off item that is only replaced if it breaks where as we may well end up owning a variety of airbrushes eventually. be it better models as I improve or as the previous person suggests, pehaps multipule guns for easy colour change

Hi, Don. Thanks for letting me join this community of airbrush artist. My name is Carlitos and i am not any kind of artist yet. I am a chef by trade and an artist by heart. So, i am trying to get some practise. The first ever airbrush i bought was a used Beaver b200. It is good enough for practice but i am not getting much mileage out of it. I may need some more practice. Next i bought an Iwata Eclipse siphon feed one. I wanted to buy the Iwata Eclipse CS for more detailed work but it is hard (and expensive) to look for one here in Calgary, Canada. I knew that the BCS is good for coverage but not in too much detail (having a .5mm nozzle?) but i think i could do wonders with it. I will post some work when i have more practice. Btw, your instructional videos and articles are very helpful and people friendly. Thanks
