I've been airbrush motorcycles 12 yrs and use most Iwata
I tried Richpen but the internal seals are junk and parts are very hard to come by so I went back to Iwata as parts are easy to find

Also using the Central Pneumatic 95810. For $15 it looks like a great pen and definitely great to start out with. While some things at Harbor Freight (where this pen can be bought from for $15) are cheaply made and often you pay for what you get, I gotta say, I am impressed with this pen. I don't know much about them yet, but the basic concept seems pretty simple.. long tiny needle up the middle, pulls back to let paint through, pressing down for valve to let air in. This pen has a little screw on it as well to adjust and from what I gather, dial in a set amount of paint flow. It comes with a bottom fed container and a bottom fed thimble looking thing. As well, for $7 I bought the 1/4" to 1/8" 10 foot cable at the store, and a set of small air brush cleaners for $2.

I am hoping this thing works enough to allow me to use it for stencils, although I've no idea yet how to do things like shadowing, mixing colors, etc. The one thing I am truly confused with so far is.. how do you change colors? Do I use the little "top opened" container, put a dabble of paint, use it, rinse it out, and use another color in it? I am not sure if you buy multiple containers to fill with different paints, and just switch them out for different colors. One demo I saw showed the pen being stuck in a bucket of water to rinse it out before switching colors. Can't wait to figure all this out!
