Grex Airbrush will be holding two full days of professional airbrush workshops focusing on beauty makeup, bodypainting and special effects. This series is open to makeup artists who want to enhance their skill set. The two day workshop is divided into four separate half day classes structured to allow students to build skills on top of each class. Each class is specifically designed to be a small class size with the key element being hands on practice of the skills and techniques taught. Students have the option to take all four classes or pick and choose to fit their specific needs.

Airbrush equipment will be supplied to the students by Grex for the hands on practice sections during each class (do not worry; there is no obligation to purchase). Airbrush equipment is a big investment, and Grex understands everyone should have the ability to try and then decide whether airbrushing is right for them before putting in that investment. Students that already own their own airbrush system (regardless of brand) are, however, strongly encouraged to bring them to the workshop. This allows the student to learn on the exact equipment they will be using after the workshop.

The workshop is centered on education. Instructors will be able to address questions unbiased across all brands of airbrushes. Low cost with discounts for multiple classes taken allows students to receive as much education desired. Detailed curriculum for each workshop class may be found on this website to aid in the decision of which classes are suitable for each student.

The workshop launches with a comprehensive Airbrush Fundamentals where students learn the fundamental skills required for anything airbrush. Following will be a class on the basics of what airbrush can do in the makeup realm. And for those who want a taste of Bodypainting and Special Effects makeup, two separate classes are available the second workshop day.

Thanks for the info. I've looked around the Grex web site, but couldn't find any dates for workshops. Can you talk to how ever gave you that information and see if they are doing one in or around Las Vegas Their web site doesn't list any events, even though they have a page for them.

I doubt if they plan on coming to Mesquite(NOWHERE), NV where I live. I'd drive the 85 miles to go to one in Vegas, but 450 miles to L.A. is a bit too far.
