Thread: What about this compressor

hey guys,, i am in the phils right now,,i am have not been able to find a good compressor here at a decent price,,so i have been looking on ebay at AB comp..comp needs to be 22O capable,,i have found several like this one,,iam not familiar with the brand of the comp,,included AB is neaither here nor there for me

am i limiting myself with this comp

What is it you want to airbrush?

Well,, i want to do my bike when the time is right,,also t shirts ,,probably end up doing mostly automotive ,,dont want to be a one trick pony limiting myself to just one media tho ..thinkin if i did that i would lose interest in AB
What would the limitations of that comp be,in terms type of paint it will spray ..my concern is the only type of paint i have found locally is acrylic enamels or uros..
other words.solvent based paints..which require a good respirator,,something else that is hard to find here...

No matter what kind of paint you spray you need a good respirator that does not hold true for just solvent based paint but also for water based, water born paint

uros for your bike is the way to go

Buy a compressor that is to big for your present needs so you have room to expand
If you want to paint your bike than you''l have to base it and clear coat it
T Shirts require 40 to 60 PSI
Look at compressors at places like home depot, lowes
to run a gun for base coating and clear coating you'll need at least a 5 hose compressor with 30 gallon air storage tank
