Thread: Tack cloth

i have seen a lot of reference to using a tack cloth to remove dust etc from the surface before painting

i have never seen or used one,so i would like know something about them,,

do they have different names ,,can they be cleaned after extended use..any any other imfo
i might need\want to know

A tack cloth has a sticky material on it and is used for removing dust from a surface prior to painting.
Below are the ones I use. I guess you could make your own out of cheese cloth.
The ones you buy can not be re used as far as I know. They are about $1.00 each.
