    Default paint finishing

    hi all!

I am having a little problem while painting. i spray my paint and once it dries it feels "rough" almost like if there was tiny little bits of sand in it and i'm trying to find what is causing this and how to correct it.
    I am using:

Tamiya Acrylic paint thined about 50/50 with iso alchol
    Badger 150 airbrush
spraying from about 6-10inches (paint tends to pool when i spray closer)
    20psi on air line
    Can you help me please?

thined about 50/50 with iso alchol --- is that what you should be thinning it with? Is that what Tamiya says to use?

20 psi is pretty low psi try turning it up to 30 see how it goes

No worries not sure it was that helpful as I don't personally use that paint it's hard to make suggestions.
Follow the manufactures guide lines as to what to thin it with and recommended air pressure.
Let us know how you make out with it.

It was indeed helpful. I also took some guidance from one of my experienced friend and it worked out well
