    Default createx paint an automotive clear

    createx paint and auto clear coat will it work or am i asking for trouble. ?

    deadeye,

    I did some work with Createx on outside concrete designs and sprayed with a can of clear coat. No trouble so far. What are you painting?

    hi jan painting on metal panels helmets ect . i use hok for projects .but can be expensive to practice with. just thought i use createx for test panels an displays and spray ppg clear over it .so i wet sand an buff for nice finish. not sure if ppg will eat up the water base paint ?

    Deadeye - From my experience with Createx paints (which I use almost exclusivley when doing R/C car bodies), is that Krylon Acrylic clear coat will work just fine, and I'm sure that it will suffice for test panels and display boards. Just my .02
